Incident Report October 2025

 

  • 01/10/2025 21:14pm – Zimbane

3 armed suspects held up a spaza shop and made off with all the cash. Response were dispatched and SAPS were informed.

 

  • 01/10/2025 07:47am – Sutherland Street

A burglary was reported from a pharmacy. Our investigator found the intruders had gained access via the roof and destroyed the alarm system before stealing the safe and laptops. SAPS were informed.

 

  • 03/10/2025 06:10am – Ngangelizwe

A robbery was reported from a school. 6 intruders tied up the guards and broke into the workshop and admin areas and stole equipment. The alarm was not armed.

 

  • 05/10/2025 00:11am – Vulindlela Heights

Alarm activations were received from a business and Protek teams were dispatched. Intruders had broken through the perimeter wall and back door and made off with stock which was later recovered from the forest.

 

  • 06/10/2025 21:51pm – Libode

Armed suspects held up a fuel station, the cash was in the drop box but they made off with cigarettes. SAPS were informed.

 

  • 08/10/2025 04:18am – Zimbane

Alarm signals were received from a shop. The guard said that intruders had jumped the fence and made off with 3 batteries before response arrived.

 

  • 08/10/2025 18:22pm – Ikwezi Extension

Panic signals were received from a residence and the client reported coming home to the front door open and appliances and clothing missing. A case was opened with SAPS.

  • 09/10/2025 08:39pm – Leeds Road

The client reported a burglary at their offices. Intruders had gained access via a top floor window that was open. A laptop was missing.

 

  • 09/10/2025 15:11pm – Vulindlela Heights

Panic signals were received from a business and response were dispatched. The owner informed them that 3 armed suspects had emptied the tills and made off with the staff’s phones.

 

  • 16/10/2025 07:44am – Sprigg Street

Client discovered a break in when opening their business. Access had been gained via a side door and the alarm damaged. Nothing was taken.

 

  • 16/10/2025 12”07pm – Nelson Mandela Drive

Panic signals were received from a fuel station. 2 armed suspects had held up the staff and emptied the tills. SAPS were in attendance.

 

  • 20/10/2025 09:25am – Callaway Park

An attempted burglary was reported from a doctor’s rooms.

 

  • 21/10/2025 13:06pm – Callaway Park.

 

Client reported a burglary at a hire company. Our investigator found the intruders had gained access via the back door. A lot of goods were stolen; the alarm had not been armed.

 

  • 21/10/2025 05:59am – Norwood

Copper piping was stolen from a residence.

 

  • 21/10/2025 03:02am – Eagle Street

Multiple alarm activations were received from a furniture store. Response were dispatched and SAPS informed, Intruders had forced the front door and made off with stock.

  • 21/10/2025 10:38am – Elliot Street

A client called from a furniture store to report a burglary. Our investigator found that intruders had gained access via the rear door and made off with stock. A suspect was caught selling one of the stolen microwaves and handed over to SAPS.

 

  • 22/10/2025 08:29 – Plaza Complex

An outside security company reported a burglary at a clothing store. Cell phones had been stolen overnight.

 

  • 23/10/2025 12:13pm – Madeira Street

We received a robbery in progress call from an agricultural store. 3 armed suspects fled with cash from the tills and the staff’s phones.

 

  • 23/10/2025 23:44pm – Plaza Complex

An outside security company reported alarm activations from a clothing store. The Protek team were dispatched to meet with the client. On arrival, our team caught a suspect in the shop with stock. SAPS were informed.

 

  • 26/10/2025 17:35pm – Callaway Park

A burglary was reported from a residence. Clothes and appliances were stolen.

 

  • 28/10/2025 23:54pm – Bridge Street

Response were dispatched after a signal was received from a cash and carry. On arrival they were met by SAPS who reported 7 armed men had broken in and stolen stock and generators.
