An outside security company informed our response supervisor of an armed robbery at a food outlet. On arrival, the suspects had fled with cash from the tills. The panic button had not been pressed.

An outside security called for backup after spotting a suspicious vehicle near an alcohol warehouse. The Protek team were dispatched and SAPS were informed. On arrival it was found the suspects had tied up the guards and then fled with their cell phones.

A called was received reporting an armed robbery at a hotel. The guards were held up and the suspects fled with 4 cases of alcohol.

A spaza shop was robbed of airtime vouchers and the shop keys.

Panic signals were received from a furniture store / cash loans. Suspects had fled with cash and a laptop.
- 09/05/2024 15:26pm – Mbuqe Park
A client pressed her panic button after spotting suspects exiting her property. She found they had entered her residence via an open window and stolen a wallet and a cell phone.
- 09/05/2024 15:41pm – Sprigg Street
Panic signals were received from a cash and carry. Four armed suspects had fled with cash from the tills.
- 13/05/2024 07:32am – Cnr York & Sutherland Street
Client called to report a break in at a cosmetic store. Intruders had entered via the roof and damaged the alarm system before making off with stock.

A spare wheel was stolen from a truck that was offloading at a builder’s warehouse.
- 16/05/2024 01:36am – Fortgale
A panic signal was received from a guest house where it was reported that a vehicle had been stolen. SAPS were informed and later recovered the vehicle.
- 17/05/2024 21:30pm – Victoria Road
Response were requested at a High School after intruders were thought to be on site. The Protek team responded and checked the entire school finding no one. Later the Principal informed us that the guard had been badly injured by unknown suspects.
- 18/05/2024 02:55am – Cement Road
A client from a warehouse called to say he spotted intruders on the camera’s disconnecting the truck battery. The Protek team along with backup responded and searched the entire premises. They later recovered the batteries in the workshop.
- 31/05/2024 01:54am – N2 National Road, Lurasini
The manager of a truck stop called to report an armed robbery, response were dispatched. 10 armed men had held up the guards before bombing the ATM and fleeing with the money.
