Incident Report June 2025

 

  • 02/06/2025 13:38pm – Northcrest

Intruders broke in to a school and stole groceries from the kitchen. The client confirmed there was no alarm protection in that area of the building.

 

  • 03/06/2025 14:28pm – Sutherland Street

Panic signals were received from a shop where 3 suspects had taken cash from the tills and a customer’s phone. SAPS were unable to attend.

 

  • 08/06/2025 17:58pm – Hillcrest Extension

Copper piping was stolen from a residence.

 

  • 09/06/2025 08:53am – Vulindlela Heights

A business reported a break in the previous night. Intruders had made a hole in the wall by the alarm panel and damaged it, the alarm sent a panic signal but when response arrived one of the intruders posed as the guard and assured them all was ok. They opened the safe with a grinder and emptied it of cash.

 

  • 11/06/2025 08:30am – Nelson Mandela Drive

Intruders forced the door of a business overnight and stole a lot of stock. The client said the alarm had not been armed as there had been no electricity for an extended period.

 

  • 15/06/2025 04:51am – Frere Road

Intruders jumped the wall of a church and stole a spade and a rake.

 

  • 16/06/2025 03:01am – Blakeway Road

An alarm activation was received from an office. Response reported that intruders had broken the door of the back flat but nothing had been stolen.

 

  • 16/06/2025 04:05am – Cumberland Street

An alarm activation was received from a residence. Response found the front gate and a sliding door open. They woke up the residents who confirmed that clothing and a tv had been stolen.

 

  • 18/06/2025 00:04am – Madeira Street

Intruders attempted to break into an office but were deterred by the alarm activating.

 

  • 19/06/2025 01:23am – Callaway Park

An alarm activation was received from an office. Response found the sliding door open and the client reported a computer had been stolen.

 

  • 20/06/2025 23:53pm – Ncambedlana

Copper piping was stolen from a residence.

 

  • 23/06/20507:11am – Sutherland Street

The manager of a furniture store requested a response team accompany them into the store when they saw it had been broken in to. Intruders had gained access via a back door, destroyed the alarm system and made off with a lot of stock.

 

  • 24/06/2025 12:35pm – Ikwezi Extension

Intruders broke into a business and stole equipment from the garage.

 

  • 25/06/2025 20:40pm – Southernwood

Suspects cut the electrical cables to a residence.

 

  • 27/06/2025 22:10pm – Vulindlela Heights

An alarm activation was received from a business. Response found the padlocks on the back door had been cut and contacted the client to come out and replace the locks.

 

  • 27/06/2025 23:25pm – Eagle Street

Response were dispatched to a funeral parlour after an activation was received. They found one of the vehicles open with the spare wheel missing and the keys on the floor. They had tried to force the door of the building but appear to have fled when the alarm sounded.

 

  • 29/06/2025 19:54pm – Libode

Client confirmed an armed robbery after panic signals were received from a fuel station. Suspects beat up the security and made off with their phones and radios along with cigarettes.
