Incident Report August 2024

 

  • 01/08/2024 01:21am – Ngolo Location

Client called to report intruders at a school. The response team confirmed an attempted burglary, the security gate had been opened with a grinder and the kitchen door broken. Nothing was taken.

 

  • 02/08/2024 18:27pm – Nelson Mandela Drive

Multiple signals were received from a cosmetic store. Three armed suspects had fled with cash from the till.

 

  • 03/08/2024 08:24am – Owen Street

Response were dispatched to a salon after an alarm activation was received. Intruders had bent the security gate but had not gained access.

 

  • 03/08/2024 10:50am – Elliot Street

Panic signals were received from a fast-food outlet. Response were informed that 3 armed suspects had fled with cash from the tills. SAPS were informed.

 

  • 05/08/2024 00:19am – Gxulu Location

 

Alarm signals were received from a supermarket and the response team discovered that intruders had cut a hole in the wall and stolen cash and stock. SAPS were informed.

 

 

  • 06/08/2024 08:52am – Errol Spring Avenue

Client called to report a burglary the previous night. Our response supervisor went to investigate and found that intruders had cut the locks, stolen stock and then re-locked the gates using their own padlocks.

 

  • 07/08/2024 16:22pm – Bridge Street

Panic signals were received from a cash and carry where response were informed that 2 armed suspects had fled with cash from the tills. A case was opened with SAPS.

 

  • 14/08/2024 18:29pm – Lugxogxo Location

Panic signals were received from a shop and the client confirmed there had been an armed robbery. Cash, stock and cell phones were stolen. SAPS were informed.

  • 18/08/2024 22:06pm – Libode

Multiple alarm activations were received from a fuel station and the client was contacted. He confirmed an armed robbery had occurred with 3 armed men taking goods and cash, they shot the manager who was taken to hospital.

 

  • 19/08/2024 11:00am – Mbuqe Extension

The client was contacted after alarm activations were received from an unoccupied residence.

Intruders had forced the garage roller door and stolen paint.

 

  • 30/08/2024 14:37pm – Fortgale

Alarm activations were received from a premises and response found that the copper piping had been stolen and water was flowing. The client was called.

 

  • 30/08/2024 18:18pm – York Road

Alarm activations were received from a mini-mart and the client contacted. He confirmed an armed robbery had occurred; the suspects fled with cash from the tills. SAPS were informed.

 

  • 31/08/2024 00:22am – Libode

Multiple signals were received from a supermarket and the guards and keyholder were contacted and the guard manager confirmed intruders on site. SAPS were informed and it was reported that

many armed suspects had forced the front roller door before making off with the ATM and stock from the bottle store.
