Incident Report November 2025

 

  • 02/11/2025 10:14am – Northcrest

Panic signals were received from a residence and response found the house was on fire and firefighters were already on site. No one had been home when the fire started.

 

  • 03/11/2025 09:27am – Fortgale

A client called to report a fire at their residence. An iron had been left on in a back room, there was no major damage.

 

  • 05/11/2025 03:09am – Thornhill Road

An outside security company reported alarm signals from a panel beater. Response found that intruders had damaged the alarm but nothing was taken.

 

  • 05/11/2025 13:39pm – Basil Reed Park Homes

Response were dispatched to a residence after alarm activations were received. Intruders had forced the front door and made off with appliances and copper piping.

 

  • 08/11/2025 09:46am – Sprigg Street

Copper piping was stolen from a business.

 

  • 12/11/2025 01:58am – Victoria Street

While on patrol, response discovered a burglary at a sports club. Appliances and stock were missing and the alarm had been cut.

 

  • 13/11/2025 08:41am – Vulindlela Heights

Client discovered a burglary when opening their business. Intruders had broken the door and damaged the alarm system before making off with a safe, computer and generator.

Panic signals were received from a wholesaler where an armed robbery had taken place.

4 armed men had emptied the tills and fled. The panic was pressed afterward.

Copper piping was stolen from a residence.

 

 

  • 14/11/2025 09:440am – Callaway Park

 

Copper piping was stolen from a residence after intruders cut the electric fence. The alarm had not been armed.

 

  • 17/11/2025 03:39am – King Edward Road

 

Copper piping was stolen from a residence. Response noticed water leaking while on patrol and informed the client.

 

  • 21/11/2025 06:31am – Vulindlela Heights

 

Client discovered an overnight break in when opening their wholesalers. The Protek response supervisor went to investigate and found Intruders had forced entry via a bathroom window and damaged the alarm system. They opened the safe with a grinder and made off with stock, stealing a truck from a neighbouring business.

 

  • 21/11/2025 16:18pm – Chatam Street

 

Panic signals were received from fast food outlet after 3 armed men had emptied the tills and fled. SAPS were informed.

 

  • 23/11/2025 00:47am – Delville Road

 

The guard caught one of three suspects stealing copper piping from a country club.

SAPS were informed.

 

  • 23/11/2025 22:30pm – Ziphunzana

 

Panic signals were received from a shop. The client reported that intruders had cut a hole in the roof but had been deterred by the alarm.

 

  • 29/11/2025 21:15pm – Southridge Park

 

Client called for response when he returned home to find his gate open. Response reported the electric fence had been cut but no entry into the residence.

 

  • 29/11/2025 14:26pm – Sutherland Street

Response were dispatched to a store after panic signals were received. 2 armed men had robbed the client of R 200.00
